PURPOSE:To improve the display quality by controlling a gap of a color liquid crystal display cell by reforming a color filter substrate. CONSTITUTION:In addition to a transparent conductive film pattern 23 on the surface of a color filter substrate used for an electrodeposition method and a micell electrolytic method, a transparent conductive film pattern 23S is formed in the position of a seal part 30 of a display cell. These patters are formed simultaneously by using the same transparent conductive film as a color filter formation pattern. This color filter substrate is used for the manufacturing method for the color liquid crystal display device. Uneveness and ununiformity of a picture quality of the color liquid crystal display device, which are a problem up to the present are improved, and also the manufacturing yield can be improved. Moreover, this method constitutes a characteristic feature of obtaining a large effect by a manufacturing process being the same as before. |
