The wavelength tuning device uses a monoblock tuning element (3) supporting the optical element (4), with a hollow outer part (5) and a relatively displaced inner part (6), coupled together via thin membranes (11, 12). The optical element is provided at one end face of the tuning element, a piezoelement (1) and a setting element (2) for the inner part at the other end face of the tuning element. Pref. the inner and outer parts of the tuning element each have two opposing parallel end faces (7, 9; 8, 10). USE/ADVANTAGE - Laser resonator. Translation of optical element practically without tilt.
