The hair-treatment appliance incorporates at least one curler (2) enclosed by a capsule (1) which has at least one inlet (3) and outlet (4) for the treatment-lotion (6a). The unused lotion is contained in a storage-container (10), and the used lotion in a collector (11b). The storage container is connected to the capsule inlet, and the outlet to the collector by way of a system (12) of pipes with valves (14). A vacuum-pump (18) sucks the lotion through the capsules. A separator-receptacle (15) has a vacuum connection (17) at the top, and a pipe-connection (20b) at the bottom. Between the pipe connection and the capsule inlet the pipe system incorporates a liquid-pump (21). USE/ADVANTAGE - An air-driven pump enables the hair to be immersed in treatment fluid in at least one capsule containing a vacuum.
