The furiture component is foam-upholstered, with a body-compatible covering. The foam material is coated directly with the plastic in flake form. The upholstery (3) can be a moulding of soft or integral foam, produced in a mould without wax or other separating agent. Its surface is coated with glue, to which the flakes are applied. A cold-foaming system can be used to produce it. USE/ADVANTAGE - Wide adaptability and low cost of furniture cushions.
