摘要 A camera surveillance system is used to locate objects that enter a room. The cameras (1-3) are installed at three different points within a room and are calibrated. The calibration ensures that each point within the room can be related to a 3D representation on a monitor screen. The monitored region is defined by specific points (5-8) and these provide comparison points for identifying any changes that take place due to the entry of objects. The monitoring process takes place as a continuous, repetitive cycle under the control of a computer. ADVANTAGE - Detects object entry and provides location rapidly.
