PURPOSE:To obtain a developer compsn. having excellent hot offset resistance, low temp. fixing property, smoothness of fixed surface, blocking resistance, and transparency. CONSTITUTION:The developer compsn. for electrophotography contains a binder resin and a colorant, and if necessary, other additives. The binder resin essentially consists of polyester, comprising a first polyester and a second polyester by 80:20 to 20:80 weight ratio. The first polyester is a linear polyester having the softening point Tsp between >=105 deg.C and <170 deg.C, while the second polyester is a linear polyester having the softening point Tsp between >=80 deg.C and <105 deg.C, with >=10 deg.C difference between the softening points of the first linear polyester and the second linear polyester. |
