PURPOSE:To eliminate the wasteful time in inspection and to enhance inspecting accuracy, by controlling an inspection apparatus so as to move the same in a state following the movement of a container. CONSTITUTION:A mirror 32 is stopped at an inspection part during a time when a bottle 10 moves from A to A' at a certain speed and, therefore, the image of the mouth part of the bottle 10 is picked up by a camera 33 over a range from one end part of said mouth part to the other end part thereof through the reflective surface of the mirror 32. At this time, because the bottle to be inspected next time is preset at a position B', the same bottle is inspected once more during a time when the bottle moves from a position A' to a position A''. When the bottle advanced to the position A'', the bottle has reached a position A(B'') and, therefore, the mirror is returned to the previous inspection part and the inspection of the next bottle is started. |
