The extruded plastics or metal plate fixture (2) is for attaching blinds, curtains (4) etc. to a support-pole (1) itself attached to a wall, ceiling or other fixed point. It encloses at least half of the support-pole (1) cross-section. The back of the fixture has a decorative layer. The bottom edge of the fixture at least is in the form of a flange (2a) parallel to the blind or curtain plane. The side of the flange facing the curtain or blind has a hooked-pile covering (5), as has the top edge of the fixture, for holding the curtain or blind top edge. The backs of the flanged surfaces (2a, b) of the fixture have at least one reinforcement ridge (2c, d) sticking out longitudinally behind at right angles. USE/ADVANTAGE - The curtains or blinds are more easily fixed, removed for cleaning, avoid creasing, without removing the support-pole by an economically produced fixture.
