The connectors (5) have on their section (7) lying in the second profiled rod (2) a flat rectangular cross-section and a threaded bore (8) so that two screws (9) engage through the bores from both sides with their tips (10) projecting into the two ends of the bolt (11) which are designed as a hollow cone (12). The bolt is inserted in a cross bore (13) which is drilled right through into the profiled rod (2) so that the tips (10) of the screws adjoin the cone on one side and tighten the connectors which are supported on the outside against the rear cut section (4) of the profiled rods.
