PURPOSE:To eliminate the remaining sheet of an existing roll sheet after connection between sheets and to improve economical efficiency and workability, in a sheet connecting work for a rotary printer. CONSTITUTION:A tension detecting means for a web 4 comprising a pressure detecting means 28 and a roller 29 is located on the spider arm 2 side of a sheet feeder. A roller 31 to nip the web 4 between the press roller and a guide roller 7 supported to the spider arm 2 is located to a spider arm 16 of a paster device. The web 4 is nipped between the guide roller 7 and the press roller 31, and the tension of the web 4 is detected by a pressure detecting means 28. When the tension of the wed 4 is widely changed, the remaining sheet of an existing roll sheet is reduced to zero by effecting a sheet connection work. |
