PURPOSE: To provide a copying machine which includes the method for increasing the manual or semiautomatic image forming speed of a signature type original document and is able to selectively control an image formation object area of the document. CONSTITUTION: While excluding the possibility of image formation of the gutter part of the signature document by a user interface 52 including a conversation type touch screen, a keyboard, etc., the user can perform scanning operation by sensor positioning technology that identifies the type of the input document including the size and image cropping size and easily positions the signature document. In addition, this system is suitable for the scanning of both pages of a 1st signature type document by the 1st passage of a scanning array and is also able to scan a 2nd signature type document by the passage in the reverse, i.e., return direction. |
