<p>PURPOSE: To provide skis excellent in vibration control, which include reinforced fiber sheet boards or a tape respectively made of a fiber sheet material and a thermosetting resin. CONSTITUTION: Side walls 7 made of a plastic material are arranged at the sideface of a core 6 which is arranged adjacently to a wide top belt 8 at the upper side and a wide lower part belt 5 at the lower side. The top belt 8 and the lower part belt 5 are made of a glass fiber-reinforced plastic. Two rubber strips 4 are arranged under the lower part belt 5 and the belt 5 is arranged adjacently to a narrow lower part belt 3 at the underside thereof. The latter belt 3 is made of a woven sheet tape of highly ductile polyacrylonitrile fiber including sufficiently cured phenol/formaldehyde resin. A plurality of layers to which the top belt 8 is adjacent, is constituted of two prepregs 9, a top end 10 made of a glass fiber-reinforced plastic and a metal for instance, a narrow top end 11 in the glass fiber-reinforced plastic, and layers 20, 12 formed of prepregs.</p> |
