PURPOSE:To eliminate a limit on the layout of a destaticizer so as to realize device miniatulization by constituting in such a manner that light from the destaticizer is reflected with a reflecting part and thrown to the surface of a photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:A laser printer is constituted in such a manner that the photosensitive body 11, an electrifier 12, an developing unit 13, and a cleaner 15 are mounted in the image forming case 30. The image forming case 30 is provided so as to be taken out of the device main body 10, has a space 31, and is constituted in such a manner that a reflecting plate 32 is mounted in a corner part 30a above the space 31. The reflecting plate 32 is made of, for example, an aluminum plate with high brightness; however, mirror made of glass, etc., can also be employed. On a housing 17 situated below the space 31, a mounting part 17a is provided in such a manner that it slightly inclines toward the space 31; the destaticizer 18 composed of a light emitting diode is mounted to the mounting part 17a. When the photosensitive body 11 is destaticized, light from the lamp 18a of the destaticizer 18 is reflected with the reflecting plate 32 and thrown onto the surface of the photosensitive body 11. |
