The roller-skate has two wheels (6, 9), the second wheel (6) being directly behind the first (9). There is a mounting-plate (1) in which is a 6-mm dia. guide-pin (2), with a thread and safety nut and on which is a compression spring (4). The mounting plate is 5 mm higher over the back wheel-holder than over the front wheel-holder. Two side-facing guide-plates (3) with cavities are joined to the plate. A wheel-holder (5) with wheel (6) and 6 mm axle-screw (7) are positioned beneath the plate, pin, guide-plates and compression spring. On both sides in the wheel-holder (5) top are 5 mm dia. guide-cams (5a). A pressure plate (5b) with a 6 mm hole is on the wheel-holder (5). The front of the mounting-plate has a wheelholder (8) with wheel (9) and axle screw (10). USE/ADVANTAGE - The impact-resistant two-wheeled roller skate enables the user to roller-skate and ice-skate by replacing the wheels by runners.
