PURPOSE:To perform normal recording to a recording paper which is dislocated because of the attaching error of a paper feeding means by providing a recording control means which variably sets the starting position of an image recorded on the recording paper. CONSTITUTION:Copying which is performed by respectively using an upper cassette and a lower cassette, both-side copying, multiple copying and manual feeding copying are executed according to instruction and operation by an operator, and the positional deviation of the transfer paper in each copying mode is measured by the operator based on the result of copying executed in each copying mode. When the measured result is obtained, the operator executes input processing for registering the measured result in the RAM 260 of a copying machine as correction data which is used by a CPU 200 at the time of copying. Data showing the positional deviation of the recording paper is stored in the RAM 260 every kind of the paper feeding means(cassette), and the recording starting position of the recording paper is variably set by the CPU 200 at the time of recording based on the data stored in the RAM 260. |
