PURPOSE:To restrain a plate cylinder from rotation with a plate cylinder unit held disengaged from a printing machine. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a gear part 7 engageable with both a plate cylinder gear 6a and a blanket cylinder gear 6b of a plate cylinder unit A and a magnet 8 capable of being attracted to a unit side wall 9 with the gear part 7 held in mesh with these gears 6a and 6b. The gear part 7 is made to mesh with an engaging part between the gears 6a and 6b for transmitting driving force to a plate cylinder 2 of the plate cylinder unit A, thereby stopping the rotation of the plate cylinder. In this way a printing plate 1 can be mounted to the plate cylinder unit A which has been disengaged from a printing machine. |
