PURPOSE:To make the start of coiling electrode sheets easy and prevent a metal piece from extruding and being separated to lower defect formation by making a metal piece of an electron collector a sheet thinner than a prescribed thickness and making the upper corners of the electrode welded with a metal piece round a 1/4 circle having a specified radius. CONSTITUTION:After a metal sheet which has <=0.1mm thickness and is annealed is welded to an installation part of an electron collecting terminal 9 of a cathode sheet 5, the resulting body is formed into a desired shape. At that time, the upper corners of the electrode sheet, the corners R corresponding to a metal piece 3, are made to have 2/3 width of the metal piece 3 and thus a cathode sheet 5 is formed. A group of electrodes is then prepared by setting a separator between an anode sheet and the resulting sheet and coiling them. Consequently, the metal piece is prevented from extruding and being separated at the time of coiling and the start of coiling is made easy and the separator is prevented from damage and thus the possibility of defects formation owing to inner short circuit can be lowered. |
