<p>According to the present invention, there is provided an olefinic copolymer-containing thermoplastic aromatic polyester resin composition having a good moldability, low-temperature impact resistance while retaining the good heat resistance of aromatic polyester resin by a simple melt-blending process. The polyester resin composition comprises the following components in a specific amount respectively: component (A) of an aromatic polyester resin; component (B) of an olefinic copolymer resin composed of an olefinic monomer, unsaturated acid glycidylester monomer and unsaturated acid alkylester monomer; and component (C) of a low-molecular weight ethylene/ alpha , beta -unsaturated acid/ alpha , beta -unsaturated acid alkylester copolymer resin having a viscosity average molecular weight of 1,000 to 15,000. The impact strength of the secondary fabricate does not deteriorate after annealing the primary fabricate made from the composition of the present invention. The compositions are widely used for the manufacture of automobile parts, electrical and electronic parts, thermal resistant containers, industrial parts, and the like.</p> |
