摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To maximize the efficiency of the friction lowering of friction generated by the contact between a tape and a guiding member and simultaneously, thus, to remarkably suppress the temperature ascending of a ultrasonic exciter by optimizing the length of the ultrasonic exciter based on an inequality (D+ d)X0.2<=L<=(D+d)X0.5 when it is defined that a length in the radius direction of the guiding member of the ultrasonic exciter is L, the outside dimension of the guiding member is D and the inside dimension of the guiding member is (d). CONSTITUTION:In a tape guiding device 17 providing of the pipe-like guiding member 2 to guide a tape, the ultrasonic exciter 3 whose one end is a free end and the other end is fixed to the guiding member 2 and to vibrate the guiding member with a standing wave and a supporting shaft 7 to support the guiding member 2, the length L in the radius direction of the guiding member 2 of the ultrasonic exciter 3 is selected so that friction factors between the guiding member 2 and the tape are a minimum value and two times of the minimum value.</p>
