TEMPORARY CENTER SYSTEM IN A DECENTRALIZED DATA BASE SYSTEM

The decentralised data base system has several terminals connected to public networks and private networks. Each terminal holds read data, and a temporary center is provided in one of the terminals to hold management information such as contents corresponding to the real data, keywords, commands allocated to the data, and check information for assuring security When a user uses the data, he makes access to the temporary center and inputs contents, commands, and keywords. Then, he obtains identification information of the terminal that holds the desired real data. By the identification information he can inspect and take out the real data from the terminal having the real data via the network. According to the degree of significance of data, limitation can be imposed on the users (terminals) who can inspect data. When allocated to one of the terminals constituting the decentralized data base system, the temporary center executes the management by collecting necessary management information from the terminals. Through the temporary center with management information can be established even by one terminal, a number of temporary centers are established corresponding to the items of information to be managed. The center is shifted from the terminal establishing and serving as the center to other terminals.
