PURPOSE:To enable a communication between a repeater station positioned at a lower rank than one station and a slave station, even when a synchronizing signal from the higher rank station can not be received by one station. CONSTITUTION:As for a time division multiplex and multiple access communication system in which the repeater station is subordinately connected between a base station and the slave station, when the synchronizing signal from the higher rank station is not received by a synchronizing signal detecting circuit 121, the synchronizing signal is transmitted from a synchronizing signal generating circuit 122, and a control code is transmitted from a control code generating circuit 124. The slave station operates the communication with the higher rank station by a preliminarily set time slot, at the time of receiving the synchronizing signal by a synchronizing signal detecting circuit 218, and receiving the control code by a control code receiving circuit 219.
