PURPOSE:To provide a Josephson element having excellent characteristics, uniform quality and simple, convenient manufacture. CONSTITUTION:Two superconducting regions 1, 2 made of a single crystal of bis(ethylenedithio)tetrathiafulvalene [BEDT-TTF]-based organic superconducting material, are connected through a normal conductive layer 3 made of a single crystal of the same-based organic conducting material.
