PURPOSE:To improve a man-machine interface by making it possible to output input data in voices without relying on an application program. CONSTITUTION:This data output device is provided with a keyboard 11g or bar code reader 11h for inputting data, mode change-over switch 11f which sets a voice output mode against the data inputted from the keyboard 11g or reader 11h, terminal controller 11e which discriminates the mode set by the switch 11f and outputs data in accordance with the discriminated mode, CRT display controller 11c which displays displaying data controlled by the data outputted from the controller 11e on a CRT 11d, and voice synthesizing and outputting device 11a which synthesizes voice signals on the basis of the data outputted from the controller 11e and outputs voices. |
