PURPOSE: To generate a computer tomograph and a shade image from a data detected based on scanning. CONSTITUTION: An X-ray detector 10 is so arranged for a circular anode 3 that an X-ray flux passes aside the X-ray detector 10, then, enters a measuring area 1 and hits the X-ray detector 10 for the first time after emitted from the measuring area 1. In a measuring apparatus 31, a patient on a bed is advanced through the measuring area 1 while a focus turns on the circular anode 3. Thus, a specified capacity of the patient is spirally scanned. A computer 11 can calculate a computer tomogram for a predetermined transverse layer of the patient and a shade image for a specified angle of projection based on the data detected in this process.
