<p>A forage harvester having a pair of members (102, 100), one of which is rotatable, for processing material introduced therebetween, an adjustment mechanism (110, 112) for adjusting clearance between the members (102, 100) and a control system (116) cooperable with the adjustment mechanism for automatically adjusting clearance between the members;
said forage harvester being characterised by :
a rotation sensor (114) for sensing rotation of one of the members (100) and
means (200) responsive to the rotation sensor for preventing adjustment of the clearance between the members (100, 102) if the rotational speed of the one member (100) is outside of a certain range.</p> |
