PURPOSE:To visually display a required part extracted from a message sequence which is obtained as a result of operating a system under an interactive condition. CONSTITUTION:This message sequence display device is provided with a symbol graphic displaying means 20, command inputting means 30, command displaying means 31, program object 40, symbol graphic object 50, program name/graphic name conversion table 60, graphic name/program name conversion table 61, message communicating means 70, time limit monitoring means 71 which monitors message communicating time, storing means 80 which stores a message sequence, file 81 for storing the message sequence, means 92 for extracting a required part from the stored message sequence, file 91 for storing the extracted message, and means 92 which graphically displays the message sequence and the display device stores a message delivered/received during the execution of an objective system and graphically and time sequentially displays extracted required parts.
