<p>PURPOSE:To automatically set sizes for baggage boxes by employing an optical transmitter and an optical receiver. CONSTITUTION:The present device is equipped with an optical transmitter 21 and an optical receiver 22, both of which are installed in a baggage box, a comparator 37 that produces data '0, 0', '1, 0', '0, 1' and '1, 1' based on collector level of a host transistor 34 of the optical receiver 22, a size judging means 39 that judges sizes in small, medium, and large respectively by the data '0, 0', '1, 0' and '0, 1' sent from the comparator, a baggage judging means 40 that judges existence of the baggage by the data '1, 1', and a memory 41 that stores the results of judgements made by the above-mentioned judging means.</p> |
