<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a hollow molded article excellent in surface gloss by a method wherein the air existing between a parison and the like and mold surface escapes outside at the blow molding of the parison and the like in a mold. CONSTITUTION:Residual air lies between a parison, which is swollen by blowing pressurizing air in a mold so as to be fixed by pressure by respective cavity surfaces 3a, 3b and 3c, and the respective cavity surfaces 3a, 3b and 3c. The residual air escapes outside through a large number of holes in the bottom molds 4, cylinder molds 5 and screw molds 6 of respective molds 1 and 2, all of which are made of porous metal. Concretely, the air existing between the parison and the respective cavity surfaces 3a, 3b and 3c escapes outside by directly passing through the surfaces of the respective molds 1 and 2, resulting in deaerating the space between the parison and the respective cavity surfaces 3a, 3b and 3c. Thus, the parison is properly brought into tight contact with the respective cavity surfaces 3a, 3b and 3c, resulting in transferring the respective cavity surfaces 3a, 3b and 3c with fidelity to the surfaces of a molded article.</p> |
