<p>There is provided a molding material for optical moldings from which information recording media having a recording membrane excellent in long-term reliability can be prepared. This molding material is a composition comprising a polycarbonate having a viscosity average molecular weight of 13,000 to 18,000 and a carbon tetrachloride content of 0.1 ppm or less having compounded thereinto 0.001 to 0.1 weight part of a saturated monovalent fatty acid monoglyceride per 100 weight parts of the polycarbonate.</p> |
