The process involves anaerobic treatment of organic material in two stages with the aid of rotting. For the first hydrolysis stage, solid or semi-solid material is used, which is distributed into a composite amt. With the aid of suitable conduits and circulation devices fluid is made to trickle through the material and is collected for feed to a pump well. From the pump well the fluid is fed back to the material, a part of it being used for second stage, involving an anaerobic filter or reactor for prodn. of bio-gas. |
