PURPOSE:To enhance spatial resolving power even when a transmission wave is not altered and to achieve real time properties by recording a transmission wave as a pulse row composed of a plurality of pulses and obtaining a receiving wave as the data row of predetermined pulse width. CONSTITUTION:When a receiving data row y(t) is set to y0, y1...yk and unknown impulse response is y0, g1...gj, y(t)=x(tau).g0+x(tau).g1f+...+x(tau).gj is formed and the data row y(t) is successively supplied to a multiplier 2 through a subtractor 1 and outputted to the outside as impulse response and also supplied to the delay devices 31, 32...3i of an i-stage. The outputs from the respective stages of the delay devices are supplied to multipliers 21, 22...2i and the multiplication results are added by an adder 4 and the result is supplied to the subtractor 1. Therefore, at the point of time when the first data y0 is obtained, the result outputted from the adder 4 is 0 and the operation of y0/x0 is performed in the multiplier 2 to obtain impulse response g0. At the point of time when the next data y1 is obtained, the response g1 is obtained according to (y1-x1.g0)/x0. |
