PURPOSE:To effectively prevent cracks without reducing productivity in the production of a sintered material of ferrite. CONSTITUTION:In sintering a molded article of calcined power of ferrite containing a binder, a decomposition gas of the binder subjected to thermal decomposition is completely oxidized and removed by making an atmosphere comprising a gas containing 5-90wt.% oxygen in a range from room temperature to 200-700 deg.C and the molded article is not reduced and will not produce cracks. Further, an atmosphere in a de-fatting stage and an atmosphere in a burning stage are kept mutually independent, so that cracks are more effectively prevented without damaging the electromagnetic characteristics of sinter. |
