发明名称 RADIATION DETECTOR
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable real time measurement of radioisotope (RI) concentration change in blood even during PET measurement by providing a reflector plate returning electrons scattered to an opposite side of a radiation source of probe part. CONSTITUTION:An in-blood RI concentration detector 10 is constituted of a probe part 14 consisting of one single scintillation fiber, a light leading fiber 16 connected to an output side of the probe part 14, a light detector 18 connected to an output side of the fiber 16, and a reflector plate 20 arranged so as to cover a side of the probe part 14. The probe part 14 and the reflector plate 20 together are fixed in parallel to an artery 24, on a human body surface 23 at measuring position of a man to be inspected. In this time, beta ray, gamma ray and the like are radiated from the RI in blood streaming in the artery 24, and comes into the probe part 14 through a skin to generate scintillation beam. At the probe 14, a part (e) of electrons generate back-scattering beam and escapes to outside the probe 14, but, by back-scattering by the reflector plate 20, the (e) is returned to inside the probe 14.
