PURPOSE:To provide the document preparing device capable of easily preparing a document with charts. CONSTITUTION:Characters inputted from a keyboard 40 is allocated based on composition information in a composition information storage means 12, and the result is held by a picture data storage means 11, displayed on a display means 20, and printed by a printer 30. When a chart input command is performed by a mouse 50, an allocation processing means 16 refers to the history of a number information storage means 13, generates and allocates chart numbers automatically to input captions from a keyboard 40. Further, image data of charts to be inputted is taken in from a chart data supply means 15, and the location of this chart is decided by a chart location decision means 14. The picture data with chart allocated is held by the picture data storage means 11, displayed on the display means 20, and printed by the printer 30. |
