PURPOSE:To provide an image receiving sheet for thermal transfer recording which is excellent in a transfer property of a pigment from an ink sheet for thermal transfer recording in thermal transfer, excellent also in shelf life of an obtained image, and excellent in durability for a white ground of an image receiving layer in preservation. CONSTITUTION:An image-receiving sheet for thermal transfer is composed of a base material and an image-receiving layer. Vinyl cholride resin and a heat stabilizer are contained in the image receiving layer.
