PURPOSE:To provide a high reliable exposure amount correcting method for an image density controller capable of controlling an image density. CONSTITUTION:In the exposure amount correcting method for the image density controller detecting the latent image potential and toner sticking quantity of a density pattern and controlling the image density based on the result of the detection, an actual reflecting light quantity when the density pattern 7 is irradiated with an exposing lamp 10, is compared with a set reflecting light quantity, and the voltage of the exposing lamp is controlled according to the result of the comparison. |
