PURPOSE:To always obtain an excellent image by accurately detecting the change of sensitivity characteristic caused by using a photosensitive body and feeding back the detected value to the control of forming the image in a toner image transfer type image forming device. CONSTITUTION:The surface of the photosensitive drum which is electrostatically charged to be specified potential Vo by an electrostatic charger is exposed with light quantities of E1 and E2 by an exposing lamp. The exposed part is developed to form two test toner images. The density of the test toner image is detected by a photosensor and the sensitivity characteristic alpha is calculated in accordance with the detected values Mo1 and Mo2', and further the quantity of exposing light Eopt' at the time of copying processing is calculated. |
