PURPOSE:To allow uniform cutting without requiring adjustment and to improve product accuracy by integrally providing a laser beam processing head on a laser oscillator and constituting this laser oscillator freely movable in a Y-axis direction, thereby maintaining always the specified distance between the laser oscillator and the laser beam processing head. CONSTITUTION:The laser beam machine 1 forms a T shape when viewed from above and a pallet 5 carrying a work W on a base 3 extending in the X-axis direction is made freely movable in the X-axis direction. A post 7 is erected on the base 3 extending in the Y-axis direction and the laser oscillator 13 is provided pendently on an upper supporting plate 9 provided in the upper part of the post 7. The laser oscillator 13 is made freely movable in the Y-axis direction by a motor, etc., which are not shown in Fig. A laser beam tube 15 is fixed to this laser oscillator 13 and a processing head supporting block 19 is provided integrally at the front end of the laser beam tube 15.
