PURPOSE:To form the dynamic pressure generation groove in a short time with a high yield and at a low cost by eliminating the need of secondary working by forming a groove by radiating a laser beam in a state that a body to be worked is immersed into a solution. CONSTITUTION:A body 3 to be worked on which a dynamic pressure generation groove is to be provided is held by a shaft 4 provided on a moving table 1, this body 3 to be worked is sealed up tightly by an airtight vessel 15 consisting of a transparent material, a solution is allowed to circulate in the airtight vessel 15, the shaft 4 is rotated by a motor 5, and also, while moving the body 3 to be worked in the axial direction by a motor 2, a laser beam 14 emitted from a laser oscillator 10 is led to the body 3 to be worked through mirrors 11a, 11b and the dynamic pressure generation groove is formed thereby. |
