PURPOSE:To improve display quality by precisely varying a mesh percentage without increasing memory capacity in the case of controlling a mesh pattern used for a word processor or a printer, etc. CONSTITUTION:A pattern storing means 21 is provided to store a mesh data pattern DP expressing each pixel by a gradation data DTS, a mesh percentage designating means 14 is provided to designate the mesh percentage, and a comparing means 25 is provided to compare a threshold value based on the mesh percentage designated by the percentage designating means 14 with the gradation data DTS for each pixel of the mesh data pattern DP and to binarize them. |
