发明名称 SEMICONDUCTOR LASER FOR OPTICAL PICKUP
摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce a size, a weight and noise by forming a side of a reverse mesalike groove and a side of a triangular columnar crystal at different angles to an optical axis of a laser light emitted from a laser crystal to separate the light into two beams. CONSTITUTION:A laser crystal 2 is so provided that an emitting surface is disposed on a boundary between a surface of a heat sink 1 and one side face of a groove 1a. A triangular columnar crystal 3 is so provided that one side of a side face is brought into contact with a boundary between the surface of the sink 1 and the other side of the groove 1a at a position opposed to the crystal 2 separately through the groove 1a. One of the two beams separated from a laser light is condensed by an optical lens 4, condensed in a spot state by an optical lens 6 through a beam splitter 5, and arrives at an optical disk 7. Then, a light deflected from the disk 7 is guided to a signal photodiode 8 by the splitter 5. The other beam of the laser light is guide to a monitoring photodiode 9.
