PURPOSE:To efficiently produce an aminopiperidine useful as a rubber chemical at a low cost by reacting 2-hydroxy-1,6-hexanedial, etc., with ammonia and hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst and subsequently subjecting the produced amino compounds to cyclization reactions at a specific temperature. CONSTITUTION:2-Hydroxy-1,6-hexanedial and/or 2-formyl-6- hydroxytetrahydropyrane are allowed to reacted with NH3 and hydrogen in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst at a temperature of <100'C, and the produced amino compounds are subjected to cyclization reactions at 100-300 deg.C to produce 2-aminomethylpiperidine. The method is profitable because of not requiring any expensive pyridine derivative. |
