PURPOSE:To prevent temp. drop and oxidation of molten metal, to prevent the development of thin film on the molten surface and to stabilize the quality by pouring the molten metal to a pouring basin part after spreading beforehand molten surface protecting agent on the pouring basin part forming on the belt. CONSTITUTION:Mixing material of refractory powder having excellent heat resistance o alumina, silica, calcia, carbon, etc., is used as the surface protecting agent 18. The spreading quantity of the surface protecting agent 18 is desirable to supply 1-10g/cm<2>. Further, in the protecting agent 18, the metallic Al and iron oxide added to obtain heat holding effect. In this way, the quality is stabilized. |
