PURPOSE:To achieve low speed safety running with large steering angle, by automatically exchanging from 4-wheel-drive to 2-wheel drive upon detection of hydraulic pressure in hydraulic circuit in power steering exceeding over the setting level. CONSTITUTION:When running, a shift lever position detector will detect whether 2-4 wheel-drive selection lever is at 4-wheel-drive position, and if the answer is YES it is decided whether a hydraulic sensor 20 provided in a hydraulic circuit containing a power steering pump 16 is turned on. If the answer is YES, a motor is rotated forward as an actuator 40 to perform 2-4 wheel exchange thus to roll a lever 3A to the two-wheel-drive side. Consequently the drive gear and front wheel drive gear are decoupled through a shaft lever in a transfer 3 to change to 2-wheel (rear wheel) state. |
