A method on removing surfactants from waste water on semi-permeable diaphragms, characterized in that to the waste water containing surfactants latex is added in a form of a water suspension, as an agent supporting the removal process, in a minimum amount of 10 g of latex per 1g of surfactants, optimally 15-20 g of latex per 1g of surfactants, and after stirring and homogenizing for at least 1 hour, the mixture is subject to ultrafiltration process, and the ultrafiltration of the waste water is continued until 85-98 percent of filtrate is recovered, at a temperature between 293 and 313 degrees K, preferably 303 degrees K, under pressure between 0.1 and 0.3 MPa, preferably 0.2 MPa, and at a linear speed of the waste water over the diaphragm surface between 2 and 4 m/s, preferably 3 m/s.
