A device for removing hubs from shafts particularly from shafts of large size transmissions based on a hydraulic cylinder of double-sided action, equipped with a working bolt screwed into its piston rod, characterized in that it has a coupling system which is equipped with connecting screws designed for being screwed into a removed hub, and the coupling system is mounted separately from the cylinder (1) by means of a rotational lock, whereas the working bolt (8) on one side has a projecting pin (9) and on the other side, it has an arbour (10), which is equipped with the driving element (11) of the bolt (8).<IMAGE>
