A device forming partitions in a drawer comprises an extruded or rolled member 4 or several interlocking members having U- shaped recesses extending transversely of the drawer. The partitions may be of hand polyvinyl chloride or of aluminium, may be loose or form part of the drawer itself, and all joints may be sealed to enable the drawer to hold liquid or semi-liquid substances. The recesses may have grooves 2 to support partitions 7 or marking tags. Alternatively the partitions 7 may engage holes in the members 4. The sides of the drawers may be produced by extrusion and the sides and the partitions may be cut to length to suit the dimensions of the drawer. The drawer front 9 may be provided with a handle and be made to match the style of the cabinet or piece of furniture of which the drawer forms a part. |
