<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the voice synthesizer capable of hearing data transmitted by personal computer communication as the voice and reducing cost as well as miniaturizing the device. CONSTITUTION:A MODEM function is built in the voice synthesizer, and the voice synthesizer is connected to a personal computer by a connection cable for RS-232C interface. At such a voice synthesizer, a data analysis part 12 always monitors data flowing through an NCU control part 12 and a MODEM part 17 to the connection cable, the data are picked up and character strings are extracted. Further, a language processing part 14 stores and analyzes the data, and voice synthesization part 15 synthesizer voices based on the analyzed result.</p> |
