PURPOSE:To improve the abrasion resistance of a film composed of a liquid crystal polymer and to relax the anisotropy of mechanical properties. CONSTITUTION:A film composed of a liquid crystal polymer is pressed between pressure rolls within the temp. range from temp. lower by 80 deg.C than the m.p. of the liquid crystal polymer to temp. lower by 5 deg.C than said m.p. The pressure at this time is set to the range of 20-400kg/cm as the linear pressure of the pressure rolls.
