PURPOSE:To improve at least either talking quality or power consumption without sacrificing other when a mobile station of a cellular radio telephone system is used for a cordless radio telephone set. CONSTITUTION:When a mobile station PSS starts communication in the system in which the TDMA system is adopted and the cellular radio telephone system and the cordless radio telephone set are in existence in mixture, a base station connecting to the mobile station PSS discriminates whether the base station is a 1st base station BS for the cellular radio telephone system or a 2nd base station CBS for a cordless radio telephone set and when the result of discrimination indicates it that the base station is the 2nd base station CBS, number of time slots in the digital radio line is increased at least in comparison with number of slots when the 1st base station BS is connected. |
